私は最終的に聖書を終えた!

On December 21st, 2005 I finally finished reading the Old Testament. LeAnn and I started reading it on December 21st, 2001. Yes, it took 4 years. :) We had some very good streaks going-- both on and off. On for weeks straight, then off for the same period of time-- but we did it. (Editors note: I had to use CDs for the last 200 pages while in my car during my commute. LeAnn finished reading it on her own before the new year.) It is quite satisfying to see what we accomplished. Funny that this year- 2006 - we will be studying the Old Testament in Gospel Doctrine! This time around, maybe LeAnn and I can be right up there with all of the wise, old folks in the ward when discussion comes around. I am thankful to LeAnn for pushing me to get it finished. She is a great example to me for her persistance and dedication to this goal that we shared together.
